Sarah brings a wide variety of experiences from working in education. Sarah initially honed her admissions expertise at Claremont McKenna College (CMC), her alma mater. Sarah served as an Admission Counselor as well as an Admission Reader for a total of three years at CMC. While working in admissions, Sarah had a wide range of responsibilities within the office including participating in committee meetings, interviewing prospective students, visiting high schools in nine states, and presenting weekly information sessions to audiences of over 100 people. Fun Fact: Sarah even presented in front of the Princeton Review Board. She recently completed her MBA at Columbia Business School and now serves as an alumni interviewer for this institution.
Through her work in admissions and her personal experiences, Sarah has garnered the skills to thoughtfully guide students in their admissions process, from how to present well during an interview to coming up with creative essay topics. She understands the different types of educational experiences available to students and how to help students achieve their own personal and educational goals. In her free time, Sarah enjoys exploring New York with her family and friends, traveling, ballet, and painting.
