Zoë graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a B.A. in English Literature. She wrote her senior honors thesis on cannibalism in Shakespeare’s works, for which she won the Barnes Shakespeare Essay Prize. Since graduating, she has pursued a career in theater, performing at such downtown institutions as Ars Nova, Clubbed Thumb, the Incubator Arts Project, Abrons Arts Center, the CUNY Graduate Center, Dixon Place, the Bushwick Starr and 59E59, and garnering praise from The New York Times for her “delicious comic” performances. Her own plays have been produced and developed at The Bushwick Starr, The Brick Theater, The Invisible Dog Arts Center and Dragon's Egg Studio in Ledyard, CT, and she was a 2014 Finalist for the Soho Rep Writer Director Lab.
Alongside her pursuit of performing and writing, Zoë has worked extensively “behind the scenes,” tutoring New York City middle and high school students for 3 years in English, History, and French, writing grants and creating marketing materials for Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, running the front desk at a cooperative pre-school in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, and now, as the parent coordinator at College Prep 360.
