Peaceful Protests Won't Hurt Admission Decisions or Chances Say At Least 117 Colleges & Universities

With the Parkland, FL High School Students taking the nation by storm with their poise and strong calls for action in the face of tragedy, sympathetic students, teachers, and staff across the nation have sought to stage peaceful protests in their own areas. However, some school districts threatened disciplinary action against the students which could hurt college admission chances during an admissions review. Now, at least 117 colleges and universities have said that students have the right to peaceful protest and will not hold any disciplinary action against them resulting from such protests.
