    Annie

Annie is an experienced writer, editor, and educator who loves working with others to craft compelling narratives about their lives and passions. She strives not only to help students compose essays that they’re proud of, but to help them become better writers and thinkers along the way.

Annie graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a B.A. in English, where she was awarded highest thesis honors for her novella, Kid Gloves. From there, she joined Teach For America and taught English in rural New Mexico, on the border of Navajo Nation. She has continued to pursue roles at the intersection of literature and education, working at literary agencies where she read and edited yet-to-be-published manuscripts, and tutoring at the University of Montana Writing Center while completing her MFA in Creative Writing. This great diversity of clients and students has taught her to meet writers where they are, supporting them as they gain confidence in their abilities.

Annie now works as a college essay coach and manuscript editor from her home in Missoula, Montana. When she isn’t writing, you can probably find her reading, hiking, or fly fishing on one of Missoula’s blue-ribbon trout streams.
