Before formally stepping into college counseling, Jade spent nearly a decade working across admissions and student advising. She served as an external application reader for Yale Undergraduate Admissions, advised students in her personal network on undergraduate and graduate school applications, and volunteered as a Penn Alumni Interviewer.

Jade is an energetic, student-centered coach, dedicated to helping students engage authentically in their interests and develop confidence and leadership skills. She believes that engaging students early and often makes it easier to build a thoughtful strategy across courses, activities, school lists, and essays. Her students and advisees have been accepted to schools such as Harvard, Cornell, Penn, and many other top U.S. universities.

Jade earned her bachelor's degree in communication and her master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Pennsylvania. Before college counseling, she worked at Wharton Alumni Relations and in nonprofit tech strategy.

Jade is based in the Charlotte, NC area and spends her free time with her husband and daughters, dog sitting for neighbors, or attending dance classes.
