College Advisor

Jason has nearly 20 years of experience in college admissions, serving on the admissions committees at Harvard University and George Washington University, where he read and evaluated tens of thousands of applications and gained valuable insights into the college admissions process. Since leaving higher education six years ago, Jason has been a trusted independent college admissions consultant, leveraging his higher education background to advise, support, and challenge students to gain admissions to top schools in the United States, the UK, and Canada. Additionally, Jason has lectured, participated on panels, and led workshops on the college admissions process across the U.S. and Asia.

Jason’s deep expertise in the holistic admissions process and interview preparation serves to highlight his student’s strengths and present their areas for improvement as opportunities for development. He helps students bring out the special and interesting components of their application and strive for a high level of competitiveness. Jason understands the level of anxiety and stress that goes into applying to college, so it’s important for him to create a relationship with his students that is transformational rather than transactional.

Outside of counseling students, Jason loves to spend time with his wife, daughter, and Barkley, his Golden Doodle. He also loves car racing, basketball, and listening to “older music,” as his daughter so eloquently states.
