As a proofreader with College Prep 360, Julie specializes in refining final drafts of student essays, résumés, and Common App forms.

Julie graduated with distinction from the University of Waterloo with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a minor in Irish Studies from Ulster University in Northern Ireland. She went on to begin graduate studies in literature through Oxford University’s summer graduate literature program—an experience that ultimately sparked her transition into editing. She later sharpened her skills through UC Berkeley’s Professional Sequence in Editing. Julie brings clarity, consistency, and a deep respect for voice to every project, guided by a lifelong belief in the power of language to express and connect human experience.

Outside of CP360, Julie is a freelance editor specializing in nonfiction and memoirs for self-publishing authors as well as academic writing ranging from undergraduate essays to PhD dissertations. She currently calls Alberta, Canada, home.
