Julie is an experienced admissions consultant and higher education strategist who has spent more than a decade helping students and families navigate selective and complex academic pathways in the U.S. and abroad. She works with students at key moments of exploration and transition, helping them clarify their goals, articulate their stories, and make thoughtful academic choices aligned with long term outcomes.

Julie holds a BA in Psychology and Art History from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked professionally across education, finance, NGOs, STEM policy, HR and technology, giving her a broad perspective on how academic interests translate into real world opportunities. This cross sector experience allows her to help students think expansively about their futures while positioning themselves authentically for admissions committees.

In her admissions consulting work, Julie takes a highly personalized and strategic approach. She partners with students to identify strengths, interests, and growth areas, and helps them build cohesive academic and extracurricular narratives over time. She is especially skilled at guiding students through personal statements, activity lists, and opportunity selection in ways that highlight curiosity, initiative, and impact. Families value her calm, structured guidance and her ability to bring clarity to an often overwhelming process.

Julie lives in New York City and enjoys traveling, staying active, and immersing herself in art, culture, and great food. She brings the same curiosity and intentionality she encourages in her students to her own life.
