  • Sarah

    Sarah has nearly two decades of experience in the college application and test preparation fields in a variety of roles including college counselor, tutor, content writer, and company manager. Sarah has worked at some of New York's top boutique tutoring companies and has traveled internationally to work with students in England and Greece on college preparation. As a college counselor, Sarah guides families through the application process from soup to nuts, helping students select schools and draft essays as well as choose competitive classes and extracurricular activities. Sarah has helped numerous students gain acceptance to the school of their choice, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, Columbia, MIT and many of the country's other top colleges.

    After graduating Cum Laude from Dartmouth College, Sarah became the Vice President of a Manhattan tutoring firm, where she was responsible for hiring and training a full roster of tutors. Sarah left New York to pursue her MFA in Acting from the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, where she currently teaches as an Adjunct Professor. Sarah helps students achieve their academic and personal goals by fostering each student's intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills. Her artistic background enables her to connect with students from many different walks of life, and cultivates creativity and a sense of play in her students. As an Intel Science Talent Search Semi-Finalist (now known as Regeneron) in high school, Sarah works successfully with students interested in STEM fields as well as the humanities.

    When not advising, Sarah can be found performing on stage or hanging out in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter, as well as her Persian cat, Oliver.
